Alexander Suzdalev of the South Carolina Stingrays has been named the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for his outstanding performances from Nov. 25-Dec. 1. The 20-year-old forward led his team in scoring with two goals and six assists, totaling eight points in three games. Under a contract with the Washington Capitals, Suzdalev has been making a name for himself in the ECHL, currently tied for sixth among rookies with 16 points in 13 games.
Drafted 70th overall by Washington in 2022, Suzdalev has a strong track record in junior and international competitions. His standout performance led to a gold medal with Team Sweden at the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships. His success has been recognized with donations of pucks from Inglasco to South Carolina youth hockey organizations.
Suzdalev’s impressive skills and dedication to the sport have earned him the title of Player of the Week and are setting the stage for a promising career in professional hockey.
