The Northwestern Trojans are heading to their fourth state championship game after defeating Gaffney 58-40. The Trojans, who last won a state championship in 2015, are seeking redemption after falling short in the 2022 title game. They will face off against the undefeated Irmo Yellowjackets, who are looking for their first state championship since 2006. The game will take place at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on the campus of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. Northwestern is determined to bring home the championship trophy once again and make their mark in high school football history.
