University of South Carolina (USC) has appointed Jeremiah Donati as its new director of athletics, succeeding Ray Tanner. Donati, who previously served as the athletics director at Texas Christian University (TCU), brings a wealth of experience and success to USC. During his time at TCU, Donati led the athletics program to new heights, including multiple team national championships and conference titles. He also oversaw significant facility upgrades and record levels of donor support for the athletics program.
Donati expressed his excitement to join USC and his commitment to continuing the success of Gamecock Athletics. USC President Michael Amiridis welcomed Donati and highlighted his accomplishments at TCU as evidence of his strong leadership qualities. Donati’s appointment comes at a time when USC is aiming to become a national leader in both competitive excellence and student-athlete experience.
With a background in fundraising, project development, and enhancing the student-athlete experience, Donati’s arrival at USC is expected to further elevate the university’s athletics program and support its student-athletes in their pursuit of success on and off the field.
