The South Carolina beach volleyball team is gearing up for its 12th season, starting with the Dolphin Duals hosted by Jacksonville University. North Florida, ranked 18th in the preseason poll, had a successful season last year and is looking to continue their winning streak. The Gamecocks, under the leadership of coach Moritz Moritz, are nearing an important milestone with a record of 193-122. The team has added new transfers to the roster to fill the gaps left by departing players. With a mix of experienced returners and new faces, the Gamecocks are ready to take on a challenging schedule with multiple ranked opponents. In the previous season, South Carolina had notable achievements, including making the conference tournament championship for the first time and producing individual honorees like CCSA Scholar-Athlete of the Year Skylar Allen and Freshman of the Year Julia Waugh. The team has a strong academic record, making the AVCA Team Academic Award list for the 10th consecutive year.
