Susan Landreth-Everitt has been named the new Regional CEO of the American Red Cross of South Carolina, effective April 14, 2025. Susan, who has been with the organization since 2017, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the role. Her personal connection to the Red Cross mission dates back over 20 years when she and her family received support after losing their home to Hurricane Floyd in Conway, South Carolina. Susan has a proven track record of success, having led the East Central Georgia Chapter to year over year growth in mission delivery and fundraising.
In her new position, Susan will oversee four local chapters and 42 counties in South Carolina, working alongside over 3,000 local Red Cross volunteers. Last year alone, volunteers from the region provided shelter, food, and support to over 5,000 people facing emergencies. The American Red Cross is a nonprofit organization that relies on volunteers and public generosity to fulfill its mission of providing disaster relief, blood donations, lifesaving skills training, and support for veterans and military families.
