Portland Bolt Acquires Applied Bolting Technology to Enhance Manufacturing Capabilities
PORTLAND, Ore. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Portland Bolt & Manufacturing, a premier domestic manufacturer of anchor bolts and specialized construction fasteners, has announced its acquisition of Applied Bolting Technology, a Vermont-based producer renowned for its Direct Tension Indicating (DTI) washers.
This strategic acquisition aligns with Portland Bolt’s goals to broaden its geographical reach and domestic manufacturing expertise while fostering global partnerships in structural and industrial bolting sectors. Applied Bolting’s innovative Squirter® DTIs facilitate easier installation and inspection processes, providing visible indicators of bolt tension that enhance accuracy in bolting applications.
