Tragic Accident Claims Life of 20-Year-Old in Laurens County
LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. — A fatal car crash in Laurens County on Wednesday night has claimed the life of 20-year-old Braydon Parker McAlister. According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Wheaton Road near Cherry Hill Road.
Reports indicate that McAlister was traveling east when his vehicle veered off the road’s right side. The car struck a ditch and overturned multiple times before coming to a stop. Tragically, McAlister was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the accident, but further details have not yet been disclosed. The coroner’s office has confirmed McAlister’s identity following a preliminary investigation.
