Jake McCoy was the losing pitcher, striking out two in three innings of work.
Game two proved equally challenging, with Carolina mustering only four hits. The Gators capitalized on three home runs, scoring in multiple innings. Ashton Crowther took the loss, but displayed resilience, striking out four batters.
