South Carolina to Compete in Greenbrier Tip-Off Tournament

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – South Carolina is set to participate in the second annual Greenbrier Tip-Off, scheduled for November 21 and 23, as announced by Intersport. The tournament will feature the Gamecocks alongside Butler, Northwestern, and Virginia in the Mountain Division.

Each of the four teams will compete in two matchups at the renowned Greenbrier Resort, with particulars on the games expected to be released in the coming weeks. All Mountain Division games will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.

To secure attendance, fans can purchase exclusive travel packages that include game tickets for both Mountain Division matchups and accommodations at the resort. Travel packages will be available starting this summer, with email alerts and additional details accessible at www.greenbriertipoff.com/travel. Ticket-only options may be offered in early fall, based on availability.

This tournament marks the fourth multi-team event (MTE) for South Carolina under head coach Lamont Paris, who previously led the team through the Charleston Classic, the inaugural Arizona Tip-Off, and the Fort Myers Tip-Off over the past three seasons.

The inaugural Greenbrier Tip-Off in 2024 featured a total of eight teams competing in separate divisions, with Wisconsin winning the Mountain Division title against Pitt, while UTRGV claimed the River Division championship over Tennessee Tech. Details about the teams participating in the 2025 River Division will be shared later.

Intersport and The Greenbrier have partnered to bring major college basketball to the resort, with numerous programs experiencing the venue since the first game took place on November 10, 2023. For ongoing updates, fans are encouraged to visit the tournament’s website and follow @IntersportHoops on social media.
