Gotion Unveils Groundbreaking Energy Products at Recent Event
Gotion has announced a series of groundbreaking advancements in its energy product lineup, featuring innovative solutions that enhance electric vehicle (EV) range, solid-state battery design, ultra-fast charging, and large-scale energy storage. The new offerings include the GEMSTONE all-solid-state battery, G-Yuan quasi-solid-state battery, robust G-Series, Grid Q energy storage system, Astroinno Gen-2, and an AI-powered industrial agent known as Axtrem.
The GEMSTONE battery, introduced in 2024, has achieved a pre-production yield rate of 90%. The latest model boasts a remarkable 60% increase in sulfide electrolyte ion conductivity and 150% higher cell capacity, enhancing both performance and assembly efficiency.
Meanwhile, the G-Yuan quasi-solid-state battery delivers an energy density of 300Wh/kg, allowing EV ranges to exceed 1,000 kilometers. This battery has demonstrated exceptional safety features, successfully passing nail penetration tests and entering road testing phases.
For commercial applications, the G-Series battery is engineered specifically for trucks, featuring a 116kWh capacity and a lifespan of up to 12 years or 10,000 cycles. With zero decay over time, it supports megawatt-level fast charging, facilitating extensive use across various conditions.
Additionally, Gotion has unveiled the Grid Q, the first 20MWh energy storage unit globally. Equipped with advanced AI and a seven-level safety framework, it promises enhanced reliability and a long design life of 25 years.
Astroinno Gen-2 offers rapid charging capabilities, accommodating a 10-minute charge time, while maintaining a 93% capacity retention even at low temperatures. The Axtrem AI agent is set to optimize production efficiency through autonomous learning and adaptation.
As Gotion continues to innovate, these advancements mark a significant step in revolutionizing the energy sector and promoting sustainable transportation technologies.
