Fatal Crash Claims Life of Easley Woman
EASLEY, SC — A tragic accident has left the community reeling after 52-year-old Melissa Worley was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. on East Church Road at Ridge Road.
Emergency responders were dispatched after 911 received multiple calls reporting the crash. On arrival, they treated several victims, and Worley was subsequently transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital due to serious injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries late Friday evening, according to Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore.
